It all begins with a moment on Ikaria: the light, the sea, the silence among the olive trees.
I capture these moments with my camera – and then transform them into works of art that look almost like watercolors.
Each image bears a word in ancient Greek —the language of philosophers and myths —words that have described the essence of life for millennia: Time. Nature. Peace. Harmony.
This is how works are created that make the energy of Ikaria tangible – and remind you every day what really matters.
About
I am Anna – an artist and musician who has lived on the island of Ikaria for many years.
My artistic roots lie in painting – I have already shown my works on canvas and paper in Athens and in various galleries in Germany.
At the same time, I devoted myself to photography – especially in the wellness and sound sectors, where my prints are still in great demand today.
With the series Ikaria Art & Soul I am publishing my photographs of Ikaria for the first time.
For me, they are more than pictures—they are translations of the energy of this island, artistically processed, almost like watercolors, and connected with the timeless words of ancient Greek.

Words that became pictures
Each of my works bears an ancient Greek word – a bridge between myth and the present.
Words like Aión (eternity), Physis (nature) and Harmonía (harmony) represent what Ikaria means to me.
Here is a first glimpse into the collection.
