The Icarians have always enjoyed the Cistus herb as a tea with its pleasant, tart, aromatic taste and high polyphenol content (antioxidant). Cistus herb (Plant of the Year 1999) is said to have many health-promoting properties.
 
According to the Novel Food Regulation, this herb is unfortunately not approved as a food in the EU, which is why we expressly offer it as a plant raw material and as a bath additive and not as a food.
